For after-hours programs, use our 4th Street NW entrance via the parking lot. If you are in need of a wheelchair upon arrival, during normal business hours, visit the Information Desk to inquire. Elevators are centrally located on the north and south walls of the building. The Museum&#8217;s exhibition galleries and other public spaces are designed in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.<\/p>\n<h3>Parking Accessibility<\/h3>\n<p>The National Building Museum does not provide parking for visitors. However, the D.C. Department of Transportation provides\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ddot.dc.gov\/page\/disability-parking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">disability parking options<\/a>\u00a0on street throughout the Museum&#8217;s immediate neighborhood. Local public transportation options such as Metro also provide services and accommodations for those with disabilities.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wmata.com\/service\/accessibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visit WMATA&#8217;s website to learn more about these services<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Sign Language<\/h3>\n<p>American Sign Language interpretation is available for Museum programs with two weeks&#8217; notice.
