Sign up for a chance to tell a story or sit back and enjoy the show! Tonight\u2019s theme is A WOMAN\u2019S WORK.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Prepare a five-minute story about wisdom passed down from a matriarch. Share the advice, warning, ritual, or ordinary habit that\u00a0shaped\u00a0your everyday life. The invisible labor that gathers families at the dinner table, runs the PTA meetings after work,\u00a0tends\u00a0a garden, organizes the block, or creates a space where others can grow. From the care and leadership of our life-givers to the land, water, seasons, and cycles that nurture us and mirror motherhood itself. Nature or nurture, defiance or conformity, tell us about the feminine figures who shaped you, raised you, or changed you.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This event will be held at THEARC: Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (1901 Mississippi Ave SE, Washington, DC\u00a0 20020).<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Doors Open at 6 pm<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Show Starts at 7 pm<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Intermission at 8pm<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Show Ends at 9pm<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales\u00a0final.
